SouthOCKids.com is created a stay-at-home mom, Julie, and her computer-techy hubby. We are always searching for new ideas and activities for our two kids, trying to keep them engaged, learning and seeing new things. We have both loved working on websites for various organizations, and this is our first "joint" effort website....he does the technical work and Julie does the events, correspondence and research.
We have a pre-schooler and a toddler, and they are both constantly exploring the world and new things. Our pre-schooler likes group activities and arts & crafts, while our toddler loves exploring and trying new things. Â
Julie has a degree in mathematics and taught high school math for nine years. She also worked at summer camp for three summers with kids of all ages.  Her hubby has a degree in computer science and has worked in the programming industry for fifteen years.
Together, we strive to find activities and events that will stimulate and encourage our kids to learn, and want to share our finds with other moms and dads in South O.C. We hope you enjoy our website and the events and activities we have found.
