Afternoon family hike of about 3 miles round trip with a gradual 500-foot climb, watching for red-tailed hawks and mule deer. Starts at the Portola-Agua Chinon staging area in the City of Irvine and travels into Limestone Canyon Nature Preserve. Ages 5 and up. Saturdays November 21 and December 19, 2:00-4:30 PM. The program is free (Irvine Ranch Conservancy / OC Parks programs are free unless noted); advance registration on letsgooutside.org is required.
